Why Summer School?
The next generation needs the proper training and support in order to take their place at the helm. A pipeline is how we turn potential into leadership.
Current candidate training programs don’t cater to young people or students. Summer School is about making sure this demographic isn’t an afterthought. For example, our program won’t conflict with the normal school year schedule. Thus, students can more easily participate.
Representatives should look like the communities they represent. Young people and students are not just voters, they should be decision-makers too. This is why Summer School is an essential program.
